RIBO Course ontario – How to Prepare For the RIBO L1 Acting Under Supervision Exam

If you’re in the process of determining whether a career as an insurance broker is right for you, or just starting to do some research, you’ve likely come across the acronym RIBO. The good news is that a RIBO license (the level 1 licensing exam) will allow you to sell car, home, commercial and liability insurance in Ontario. It does not allow you to sell life or health insurance. If you want to work in the latter, you’ll need an LLQP licence instead.

This Ribo course Ontario  is a two-week prep course that satisfies the Basic Broker Skills Requirements as set out by RIBO. Students are guided through the IBAO Becoming an Insurance Broker manual with a heavy emphasis on insurance principles and personal property/auto coverages.

Preparing for the RIBO Exam: Strategies for Success

The course includes all of the necessary materials including study notes, practice questions and answers with explanations, case studies, readings and flashcards. This is a very popular option for students who are short on time.

Once completed, you can write your RIBO L1 Acting Under Supervision exam online or in person at an Institute examination centre. You’ll need to bring a government issued photo ID with you to the exam. The exam will last for three hours and contains 90 multiple choice questions from the RIB Act, Auto, Property and Travel/Health modules. Although the RIBO exam is challenging, it is not insurmountable. By understanding the exam format, developing and sticking to a consistent study schedule and using comprehensive study materials like those offered by CourseTree Learning, you’ll be able to successfully prepare for your RIBO Level 1 licensing exam.
